Your Face on the IMDb Twitter Page

We want to put YOUR picture on our IMDb Twitter home page!

Our Twitter background image displays photos a network of stars, past and present. You can be one of them!

Help us find some great software engineers to fill our open positions.  See http://www.imdb.com/jobs

There are two ways to get your picture on the background of http://twitter.com/imdb:

1.             Refer a candidate to us by asking your friend to submit a resume via the link posted in one of the description above.  In the application, request your friend (the applicant) include your contact information, with the keyword YFIT in the body of the application.

2.            Refer a candidate to us directly – give us enough information to make contact with the candidate via the links above (and it would be prudent to let them know as well!),  and include your own contact information, with the keyword YFIT in the body of the application.

If we end up offering that candidate a job (even if they don’t take it), we’ll integrate your picture and the picture of the applicant onto our IMDb Twitter home page for a minimum of six months if you submit an acceptable photo to us.

And, yes, if you are n software developer, you may submit yourself!

For privacy reasons, we will not confirm any intermediate step in this process:  this includes receiving the referral, contacting, or interviewing the candidate, until and unless we actually proceed to offering that candidate a position.  If multiple people refer the same candidate, only the first referral (by date, submitted via the above links)  is eligible for this promotion.

The picture you submit must be an actual photo of you, and the photos that you submit to IMDb are subject IMDb’s Copyright and Conditions of Use. The actual size and integration of the photos into the IMDb Twitter page is at our discretion.  This is a limited time promotion, and the Twitter background page is subject to redesign at any time. There’s no other monetary value or other considerations for your participation in this promotion.
